On 17 June 2024, the Government promulgated Decree No. 64/2024/ND-CP on deferral of the payment of Value-Added Tax (“VAT”), Corporate Income Tax (“CIT”), Personal Income Tax (“PIT”), and land rental for 2024 (“Decree 64”). Decree 64 takes effect from 17 June 2024 to the end of 31 December 2024.

The deferral of tax payments is granted to taxpayers who satisfy the conditions stipulated in Decree 64 as follow:
